criminal case dismissed

I would like to share my very frightening experience with you. I am a 39 year old mother of three who is unfortunately in the process of getting a divorce. During an attempt to reconcile with my husband a series of events occurred, which to this day I can’t explain. In the end, I ended up in jail and was being charged with a serious crime. Because I have never been in trouble before, I was really, really afraid and I had no idea what to do.

After spending weeks trying to find an attorney, I found Criminal Defense Attorney Dan Koukol’s website and gave him a call. I was hoping he could do for me what I read he had done for numerous others on his site.

The day after I hired Mr. Koukol he was able to talk to the prosecutor. The prosecutor agreed to only file a fairly minor charge against me; this was a major relief for me. I was scared to death that I would have to go to jail or even loose my children.

Over the next few weeks Mr. Koukol worked with my family law attorney to make sure that the criminal case was handled properly so it would not hurt my child custody case. They worked wonderfully together and put together a plan that would work for both cases.

Approximately two weeks later Mr. Koukol was able to get an outcome which was better than what he had predicted.  My criminal case was dismissed in exchange for a very small civil assessment (fine).

I was very, very lonely and scared. I plan to never ever have to go through anything like this again. But, I can tell you that Dan Koukol exceeded my expectations. He was always available to me for any questions that I had. He always had an answer or found out the answer I needed. He was very helpful, very calm and reassuring and was everything I needed at the worst time in my life.  I highly recommend him!!!
