federal court drug case

I hired Dan Koukol to represent me on a drug case that started out as a state case originating in El Dorado County.  Unfortunately, after some time the Federal Court took over the prosecution of my case. When that happened I was absolutely terrified. I had heard all sorts of stories about how tough the Federal court can be on drug cases.

In the end I was allowed to enter a plea to one misdemeanor. The only sentence I received was a small fine. Dan really represented me well.  It is very scary to be prosecuted in Federal court , especially on a drug offense.
