I would like to recommend Dan Koukol if you are in trouble.  

I was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance, transporting a controlled substance and being in possession of a controlled substance for sale.  The police report said that I had over one quarter of a pound of methamphetamine along with several other illegal substances in my possession. 

When I went to court I was given a court appointed attorney.   After several court appearances this attorney told me that the best he could do was get me a state prison sentence.  This absolutely freaked me out because I knew that if I went to prison my daughter would be taken away from me and everything I had in the world would be lost. 

My boyfriend looked for a defense attorney in Rocklin and hired Dan Koukol  to represent me.  Mr. Koukol met with me several times and took the time to fully understand my situation.   He created a timeline of my life from the time I was 10 years old.  When Mr. Koukol was done he had documented my entire life story.  I have been in trouble before and I can say no attorney had ever taken the time to do this for me. 

Over the next three months Mr. Koukol met with several different prosecutors on my case.  Somehow he was able to get the case moved to a prosecutor who he thought would be good for us. Mr. Koukol turned out to be right.  The prosecutor agreed to allow me to plead to less serious charges and he agreed to give me a chance on probation and he even agreed to allow me to serve half of my sentence in the “home detention” (ankle bracelet) program.  I am also going to go to a drug rehabilitation program – which I know I desperately need. 

All in all I don’t think anyone could have done any better for me.  Mr. Koukol really helped me and my family.
