my son regained his future

My 18-year old son was a typical high school senior who had forgotten all the warnings we had given him. 

Bad judgment and alcohol resulted in my son being charged with two felony theft counts over a practical joke in which no one was hurt, no one suffered a loss and no property was damaged. It was questionable whether any laws were actually broken or any crime was committed.

This was my family’s first experience with the criminal justice system and I’d heard the horror stories of allowing a public defender to represent you.

I can thankfully express my complete and absolute satisfaction with Dan Koukol and his superb services from my very first phone call. 

The defense attorneys I called before I found Dan had advised me it would be cheaper to try to get the charges reduced to misdemeanors and pay some fines, rather than hiring our own defense and fighting the charges. My son’s charges were completely dropped without fines and without him having a criminal record.
