reduced my sentence

I would like to send out a big thanks to Dan Koukol for helping me out in a very big way when I was facing drug charges.  From my initial call to Dan’s office I felt assured that I had found the right person to represent me. Dan has made himself available to me every step of the way. I wish that I would have contacted him much sooner. 

I went through 3 public defenders in Placer County in a year and a half while out on bail. I was continuously offered 5 years state prison with 80 percent to be served on the sentence before being eligible for parole. 

Since bailing out of jail I have been employed and doing better than ever. Dan said that he could not promise me anything but he would do everything possible to help. I knew what I was up against and was sure that Dan had his work cut out for him. He always returned phone calls. He was very straight-forward on what the possibilities were. During our first court appearance together he asked for a continuance to review the case. On the second appearance he was able to get my plea bargain from 5 years state prison reduced to 5 months county jail with the possibility of an ankle monitor. 

I am very happy with the outcome of my case and would highly recommend Dan Koukol to anyone facing criminal charges. I feel blessed to have found a lawyer that has so much knowledge of the legal system and the effort that was shown.
